Celebrating the Re-Dedication of Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City

Palm Desert National Bank President Pat Lilly, left, 2008 president of Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City presented “Make a Difference Day” Awards Dec. 10 to several organizations who donated and participated in the $170,000 makeover of the Boys & Girls Club.
Accepting Awards were Amie Schrumpf, second from left, executive director of the Desert Contractors Association; Charles White, managing broker of Windermere Real Estate Indian Wells; and Douglass Vance, vice president of real estate for the H.N Francis Berger Foundation, which donated $50,000. Scott Robinson, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Cathedral City looks on. The club serves 1,500 members and 400 daily. As many as 400 volunteers representing many Coachella Valley companies and Cathedral City participated in the makeover.
