To help support Cathedral City restaurants during tough economic times, the City’s Business Development team has developed a Locals Dine Out campaign.

A letter was sent to Cathedral City restaurants inviting them to choose a day of the week, Monday – Thursday, to offer a Locals Dine Out special. This could be a menu item, a two for one offer, an appetizer, or some other special.

The City would then promote participating restaurants in advertisements that let people know which restaurants are offering specials on which days of the week. Hungry locals could then call the restaurant to find out what their special is. When you get to the restaurant either ask for the locals special or bring in a coupon from the advertisement in the paper.

The purpose of the campaign is to get people to support Cathedral City restaurants and get people out to Dine, Shop and Play in Cathedral City. The campaign run through October.
